Why the Sky Sandwich?
Sometimes when strong storm clouds float in over the lake, they reflect perfectly in the lake and a sliver of blue sky gets nestled between the clouds and their lake reflection to create a Sky Sandwich.

Those are the times I love to sit on the deck and stare straight out focusing on how the clouds are moving and how their reflection on the lake shifts with them. Quiet moments watching nature's strength flow effortlessly.

Hand-thrown, hand-decorated surface, hand-brushed glaze, and hand-signed using sturdy and functional, super white and super translucent porcelain clay made in Canada.

I create in small batches. Each piece is thrown and hand-crafted in the likeness of the next. I hope you’ll agree variations in color, small marks from the minerals and stone in the clay, or slight sways in design resulting from working with natural materials create the charm expected and treasured in handmade pottery.
