A sweet and flowy one person or 2 teapot. Lid fits great, it has a solid pour, and it leans a bit forward so it wants to pour with little effort.

Every year, sometime in July, the tall prairie grasses around our homestead turn from all different shades of green to varying shades of cream and golden yellow. It seems overnight, our hillside home settles into a golden glow from the intense sunlight to the amazingly warm shades all over the rolling hillsides with just a few washes of green and brown from the last blades of grass, holding out and standing tall, still green and refusing to be rushed! It often reminds me of the hillsides and mountains on antique Japanese landscape and mountain canvases.

I create in small batches. Each piece is thrown and hand-crafted in the likeness of the next. I hope you’ll agree variations in color, small marks from the minerals and stone in the clay, or slight sways in design resulting from working with natural materials create the charm expected and treasured in handmade pottery.
