Scrappy Sheep Mug - The First!!!!!
Please note, this is the first mug in this design. There is a #1 carved on the left front hoof bottom. As a result, this mug has a slightly higher price.
Designed during a late night in the studio with a to-do list of mugs and tiny scrappy sheep sculptures, made from the trimmings of pots. After a long day, the lines blurred on the list and the result was, a Scrappy Sheep mug complete with a scrappy sheep head and tiny sheep hooves, with impressed sheep locks.
Hand-thrown, hand-sculpted, hand-stamped, and hand-signed using sturdy and functional brown stoneware clay produced in Montana. Each mug is hand-brushed with glazing, ensuring a durable finish. These mugs are built to last (with a little care for the tiny sheep head and ears, along with the tiny sheep toes), made to be used and bring a little smile to your day.
I don’t work using production methods. Each piece is thrown in the likeness of the next and with hand-brushed glazing, each mug will have its own unique character and charm in shape, size, and glaze-flow results.
Food-safe materials. Dishwasher and microwave safe, although I recommend handwash for these mugs due to the attached head and hooves, and suggest shying away from microwaving.
