Set includes mug, strainer and strainer lid/coaster. Please note, the strainer lid was made to lid the strainer or provide a coaster for the strainer as you sip your tea. It may not serve well as a lid to the mug itself.

Sweet Daisy design inspired by my sweet pup, Daisy and my favorite flowers!
Surface design was created with screen printed outlines to set the pattern, then each flower was outlined using an iron-rich wax to create boundaries, then each petal was hand-brushed with glaze to set the colors. The background is a combination of glazes, hand-brushed with a thickness that allowed them to flow into each other. The hand-painted daisies and the flowing background create a truly one-of-a kind functional and durable pot for your tea!

Hand-thrown, hand-decorated, and hand-signed using sturdy and functional red clay produced in Canada. This set is built to last, made to be used and bring a little smile to your day.

I create in small batches. Each piece is thrown in the likeness of the next, hand-crafted, and with hand-brushed glazing. I hope you’ll agree variations in color, small marks from the minerals and stone in the clay, or slight sways in design resulting from working with natural materials create the charm expected and treasured in handmade pottery.

Food-safe materials. Dishwasher and microwave safe, although I hand wash and shy away from microwaving my hot beverages.
